Airport Procedure

The majority of our students travel by plane. If your child has not travelled alone before, we recommend that parents/guardians consider booking an accompanied flight for their child.

Arrival
Junior students will be met by their host family or a New Forest Language School representative in the Arrivals Area immediately outside the Customs Hall and taken to their accommodation.

Departure
On departure students will be taken by their host family or a New Forest Language representative to their check-in desk and then seen safely through to passport and securitey control. Should your child be an "unaccompanied minor" they will be helped with check-in and taken to the designated office or representative for "unaccompanied minors".

Prior to arrival all students will be issued with a New Forest Language School Identity Card with emergency contact numbers as well as a letter confirming the purpose of their stay.
