Accommodation

Living with a local English host family reinforces the valuable learning experience of an English language course and provides the opportunity to make lifelong international friendships.

We carefully select our host families, visit them personally and have a comprehensive Safeguarding Policy in place. Throughout the duration of the course we are in close contact with every host family and can be reached at any time (day and night) should the need arise. 

Students are given details of their host family before the course begins and we encourage them, and the host family, to get in contact with each other beforehand. Some host families are also prepared to take two students which can be a good alternative for younger learners.

Single or shared homestay options are available.

Single accommodation: the student will be the only student in the host family and will have their own room.  An extra surcharge of £80 applies.
Shared accommodation: there may be other students staying with the same host family.  Each student will have their own room. We always aim to place students of different nationalities with one host family, although this cannot be guaranteed. No surcharge applies.
